Referring a patient is easy. Retina Associates of Western NY strives to take the stress out of this process. Therefore, whatever method of referral that is most convenient for you, we can accommodate. RAWNY is an emergency practice. Therefore, there are often same-day appointments available, should your patient require. The items we will require of you:
- Basic Demographics (including insurance)
- Diagnosis/Signs & Symptoms
- Medical Records (CCD File if possible or Fax)
- When you Would Like Them Seen
- Time Frame
Southern Tier Location Opening Soon!
We are pleased to announce the opening of a new location in the Chambers Road plaza in Horseheads, NY. The office is currently under construction. We hope to start seeing patients in this location starting January 2022. Please check back for updates!

Virtual presentations will include "Peripheral Retinal Lesions" by Dr. Brian Connolly, "Treatment of Diabetic Macular Edema" by Dr. Edward Hall, "Laser Injuries to the Retina" by Dr. Matthew Witmer, and "Retinal Manifestations of Systemic Diseases and Medications" by Dr. Angela Bessette.
